PURPOSES AND PLANS

The Foundation accepts, considers and supports proposals of cooperation on preparation and implementation of all type of telemedicine applications and pilot projects promoting the development of effective knowledge sharing and conventional and remote education in public health. There is an emphasis of the role of advanced information and communication technology, processes and services which require:

• Systemic assessment of requirements and needs of development planning in the main of Telemedicine/e-Health.

• Preparing proposals for grants and competitions.

• Technical and pedagogic strategy and system of complex evaluations.

• Training and education according to individual medical disciplines for useful and effective implementation of information and communication systems in public health.

• Staffing, budgeting and technical assistance for pilot projects in the domain of Telemedicine/e-Health.

• Comprehensive assessment of the development of hardware, software, network solutions from point of view of suitability and effective utility for telemedicine applications.

• Development training programs for physicians and technical workers.

• Management and coordination of development and cooperation programs in the domain of Telemedicine/e-Health.
